Laura graduated from York University in 2007 with an Honours Degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. After working as a Kinesiologist and Yoga instructor for several years, she moved to Victoria where she further pursued education in Athletic and Exercise Therapy. Laura has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2011 and has spent the majority of her career working with spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions. She began her career as an Athletic Therapist working at PATH SCI injury in Victoria, BC where her love and passion for neuro rehabilitation began to blossom. She has completed various postgraduate courses including: Advanced RT300 FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation), Project Walk © Level 1 Certificate, Soft Tissue Massage and Release, Myofascial Cupping, Kinesiotaping as well as Pre/Post Natal Yoga, Pelvic Floor Yoga teacher trainings and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification.
Laura’s sessions involve the combination of individualized exercise, motivation, deep breathing and hands-on manual therapy to help her clients reach their full potential.
Laura enjoys running, yoga and exploring the outdoors with her family.
